A self-confessed perfectionist, Gerry Gaffney is not the only sole UK distributor for Dastek's products, he also runs a highly-sucessful tuning and diagnostics business.

Gerry (37) has combined his career as a highly skilled technician with his passion for motor sports.

He joined Barnett's Volkswagen/Audi in Edinburgh as an apprentice technician, and it was during his four years at Barnett's that Gerry became involved with the Volkswagen Junior Rally Team for Scotland .

He then moved to Lexus, Scotland, as head technician. Meanwhile Gerry's reputation within motor sporting circles resulted in him being approached by Belmont Vauxhall, to run an ex-works Chevette HSR to maintain and prepare this vehicle, resulting in an impressive number of tarmac championships. One highlight for Gerry for on-loan testing or Colin McRae.
