Adaptable

Dastek Dynamometers are suitable for most 2WD and 4WD production vehicles, enabling the tuning of most vehicles of varying track and wheelbase. The 4WD version has a highly sophisticated front to rear wheel speed control strategy designed to accommodate the latest generation of electronic 4WD vehicle systems.

Database

A built-in software database keeps a record of every individual vehicle each time it has been tuned on the dynamometer. This database also builds up a running average of the entire power curve for every vehicle type entered. This can be used as a quick reference to see if an individual car produces similar power graphs to other vehicles of the same type, based on real life results, and not manufacturers' figures.

Data Logging

With its own built-in Data Acquisition System, the Dastek Dynamometer ia able to; display, monitor, record and plot, virtually as many parameters as are required. These range from ambient temperature and pressure for compensation factors, exhaust gas temperature, inter-cooler before and after temperatures, to turbocharger boost pressure and lambda readings.

Fans

Proper vehicle cooling fans are absolutely essential to dynamometer use and vehicle tuning. Nothing will hinder the tuning process more than inadequate vehicle cooling, resulting in soaring under bonnet temperatures, and reduced intake air charge densities. Dastek's knowledge and experience in this area means we have also produced our own range of high pressure centrifugal cooling fans, enabling quick, reliable and safe engine tuning. These fans come in either a 20hp version for the main vehicle radiator cooling, or a 4hp directional model for inter cooler or sub-radiator.

Upgraded

The control unit has been designed in a modular format so that any future upgrades can be easily installed. It can also be upgraded for a 2WD to a 4WD, making the initial purchase choice more cost effective, should business trend change.

4-in-1 Dynamometer

Dastek's Dynamometer permits tuning of 4WD vehicles, rear wheel drive vehicles, and front wheel drive vehicles. A motorcycle adaptor is also available.
