"Up untill I ran on dastek's Dyno, i avoided them ALL like the plague. I havbe never found one that would replicate the boost profile I achieved on the road, not to mention the ability to maintain charge temperature control.
Normally attending a dyno day would mean tweaking the wastage duty cycle and maybe oulling a bit of timing out, but at DAstek, I was able to run my race map, and even checked out the N20 on a few runs.
My Subaru is lighter and more powerful than most (650+ bhp) yet, it just sat on the rollers like it was a standard one, no need for pull down straps like other dyno's, just location straps.
The charge temps were within 2 degrees of high speed road running, and the boost profile was bang on.
The two warm up runs I completed showed different wheel power figures, however, when the rundown looses were increased trans losses caused by colder gear oil.
I'd reccomend anyone considering a dyno to check out the DAstek system, I can't think of any way to improve it...that's usually a good sign!"
